Our Story
The first rays of sunshine illuminated the idea behind Qasap in 2016. One person and his prized farm were all it took to set his enterprise in motion. As an ardent lover of meat, Jayakumar was apprehensive due to the unfamiliarity of how his meat was bred and journeyed over time. This scepticism triggered him to step into the affair of livestock.
With the words, “Start small and scale big” as his motto, he and his team kicked off Qasap with a herd of 30 goats. True to his words of inspiration, Qasap has expanded exponentially over the last few years. They are geared up to open doors into the meat market with goat, lamb, country chicken, chicken, eggs and will soon widen into seafood. On their 30 acres of farm terrain, they form a complete wheel-of-life themselves, right from growing wholesome pastures and ethically grazing livestock to skillfully butchering meat.
Qasap replenishes the industry with chemical-free, preservative-free and hormone-free meat while catering to hotels, restaurants, caterers and cafes in and around the city of Coimbatore.
